NGO Fair

CEU is dedicated to providing students with comprehensive experiential learning opportunities that bridge theoretical knowledge and real-world practice. The annual NGO Fair hosted by Human RightS Initiative, exemplifies this commitment by connecting students with a diverse array of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and civil society organizations (CSOs), fostering engagement that extends beyond the classroom.

This fair serves as a platform for CEU students to explore internships, volunteer, and collaboration opportunities while providing participating organizations with the chance to engage with enthusiastic, talented and conscious students eager to contribute to meaningful causes.

Key Features of the NGO Fair

Diverse Participation

The fair is open to all CEU students and alumni, offering them a chance to meet representatives from numerous CSOs and learn about different causes and initiatives. The fair is also open to including non-CEU students and members of the broader Vienna community, whether you're a local resident, a student from another institution, or simply interested in learning more about CSOs and their work, we invite you to join us.

A wide range of organizations participate, representing causes such as environmental conservation, human rights, health, education, and more from Vienna and the wider region. Each participating CSO sets up a booth to showcase their mission, projects, and volunteer opportunities.

Networking Opportunities

The event provides ample opportunities for students to interact with CSO representatives, ask questions, and establish professional connections.

CSOs can network with other organizations and CEU faculty to explore potential collaborations and partnerships. It is an opportunity to meet researchers and faculty who are engaged in community service and integrating experiential learning into their curriculum to implement projects in the civil society sector.
