"I wrote this poem after the January 6th Capitol riot. I was completely overwhelmed and upset about what had happened. It felt like the culmination of a terrible year, but it taught me how to hang on to those things that make me brave, even when the world feels like it is ending."

if I had to explain this to you
I don’t know if I could. 

I didn’t know I was being brave. 

Learn & Engage Program Application_Spring

CEU's Community Engagement Office welcomes applications for their Learn & Engage program second time this Academic Year 2020-21.  

We are re-launching the call this spring hoping that there will be more opportunity to realize in-person, outdoor civic engagement activities, to be carried out until July 31, 2021. 

Projects already funded by the autumn round Learn and Engage Program are not eligible to re-apply.

Human RightS Initiative is pleased to announce a call for the editorial team, as well as abstracts and photographs for the 18th issue of The Activist. This is HRSI’s annual student-led journal and is aimed at providing CEU students with an opportunity to publish their works that are related to the topic of human rights, and to gain experience in publishing and editing processes. Students from all departments are welcome.You can access previous issues of the journal
