CEU is proud to host the opening event of the 2nd Austrian Anti-Racism Days on March 14 as part of European Anti-Racism Week. This is a moment to reflect, take action, and most importantly—reimagine racial justice in bold and transformative ways.
At CEU, we are committed to fostering a space where diversity is celebrated, and all voices are heard. We encourage initiatives that challenge racism and all forms of discrimination, creating opportunities for dialogue, learning, and collective action.
The Student Engagement Office invites all CEU students to submit creative and impactful initiatives that challenge racism and discrimination. Whether it's a panel discussion, an interactive workshop, an artistic performance, or another creative format, we want to hear from YOU!
Funding Support
All ideas will be reviewed, and selection will be made in cooperation with the event organizers. The selected project will be supported by the Student Engagement Office with a budget of up to 250 EUR/project.*
Selection criteria, proposals should:
- Directly address issues related to racism, discrimination, diversity, inclusion, or social justice.
- Raise awareness, educate participants, or promote action against racism.
- Have the potential to influence attitudes, spark discussions, and encourage action.
- Include clearly defined steps, resource needs, and a realistic timeline considering the time, budget, and logistical constraints.
- Use credible sources and present accurate information.
- Reflect diverse voices and experiences while avoiding stereotypes.
- Respect and sensitively address the historical and cultural contexts of racism and anti-racism efforts.
