CIVICA Ambassadors range from undergraduate students to postdoctoral researchers, and represent each university in the alliance. Their role is to promote interaction and exchange within the alliance's communities, and be a first point of contact to CIVICA for their peers.
The Ambassadors network actively shapes CIVICA by initiating bottom-up projects and participating in formal and informal alliance activities.
Meet the CEU's CIVICA Ambassadors for the academic year 2024/25.
Giulia Rebecca Conte I am Rebecca, a 2nd year PPE student with a deep interest in social matters. Now, being part of CIVICA’s Students and Early Stage Researchers Board, I have the chance to make things happen. CIVICA’s goal is to connect students from 10 different universities, providing networks and funding to collaborate on interesting projects: jointly-thought courses, team-works, seminars, engagement tracks…and more. In today’s ever-changing political world, being part of an alliance that values academic freedom, civic engagement and sustainability feels more important than ever. I’m very excited to cooperate with the other CSESR representatives from our partner universities, as well as with my CEU fellow students. |

Javid Huseynli Hello everyone! I’m Javid Huseynli, your newly elected CIVICA Ambassador. I’m currently a second-year MPA student and the Event Manager at CEU Football Society, so you might already know me from there.
My goal as CIVICA Ambassador this year is to make CIVICA’s valuable initiatives more accessible and share updates on projects, opportunities, and workshops that students can benefit from. With the Student Engagement Project deadline just a month away, feel free to reach out with any questions — I’m here to help and look forward to working together to make the most of what CIVICA has to offer! |
