Are you feeling tired? Do you need to recharge your batteries?
The Student Engagement Office is launching "Recharge Week", in order to give you the chance to mentally and spiritually refresh yourself. This will happen between November 6 and 12 when a palette of workshops and relaxing and entertaining events will be waiting for you.
All you need to do is pick what you want to participate in, and then come and enjoy!
Some of the activities require registration. Please check the details of the events below.

Self -Reflection Spiral
Audience: ALL CEU
The aim of the Self-reflection Spiral workshop is to introduce participants to a coaching tool that Maja designed based on similar coaching concepts she has learned about and used in her coaching practice. The concept gives participants an overview of 12 of the most important life areas. We will use some powerful prompts for self-reflection. This will help us to identify our existing realities, current obstacles, and potential areas for positive change.

Volunteer to Paint and Garden in the 5th District
Audience: ALL CEU
Join us for a phone booth remodeling on Monday the 6th of November.
We will meet/start at 1 pm at the phone booths (Ramperstorffergasse 45, 1050 Vienna)
What’s the plan for remodeling 2.0?
- We will install the plant trough with climbing plants and flowers
- We will paint the booths and make them more colorful (we are open for suggestions/ideas from YOU)
- We will make some smaller improvements to the current shelves if necessary

Happiness Workshop

If they think happiness is the privilege of the few lucky coming from healthy and wealthy and beautiful families, they are wrong. This workshop will outline the concept of happiness from the perspective of positive psychology. In addition, you will also learn practical stuff about the how of happiness. And then… you can start doing those right after the event! After all, who does not want to be balanced, satisfied or content, right?

Ukulele workshop

Do you play the Ukulele? Have you always wanted to learn to play it? Join our ukulele play-together session! You do not need to know anything about the musical instrument or music. Our resident Ukulele expert Tanja Manners will help you navigate some basic chords, which would be enough to play almost 200 songs! You do not have your own Ukulele? No worries! We have 10 ukuleles, book one for yourself. We request others to bring them with you.

The field has a size of 36x16,5 meters, so it is ideal for 6 vs 6 games. It is booked for 90 minutes.
As it is high intensity game (the ball is in play almost all the time) we are aiming for 20 people to join (either 3 teams rotating or 2 teams with subs). Please bring comfy clothing, fake grass football boots/trainers and water.

Hike to Baden
Audience: ALL CEU
Join a special hike to Baden with the CEU Hiking Club. The difficulty of the hike is easy-moderate, the meeting point is at 9:45 in Wien Hauptbahnhof Platform 1 (the train leaves at 9:59).
Ticket price: 7.5 EUR/person. Tickets should be purchased individually at oebb.at. A daily ticket for Wien-Baden including the return journey as well.
