Mindful Drawing
Whether you have been drawing since you were five or you have never picked up a pencil in your life, you are equally welcome to join our mindful drawing session. We will focus on the activity of drawing itself and being present in the creative process, rather than the outcome. After a short meditation, we will first explore the drawing materials through senses other than our vision. Then we will play around with different drawing exercises. There will be a variety of objects to choose from as your inspiration. We will mostly use charcoal, so you may want to leave your white silk blouse at home. Charcoal and paper will be provided but feel free to bring other art supplies if you prefer to work with your own materials.
In order to participate, you need to sign up!
