Winter period is always a big challenge for people living on the streets.
The Golgota Homeless Day Shelter’s (in Hungarian only: http://www.golgotaellato.hu/rolunk.html, https://www.facebook.com/nappaliellatogolgota) initiative’s main aim is to treat these people with useful and practical items they need daily during winter, see a short video:
If you have a backpack – a box or a bag will, of course, do, too – fill it up with the following:
- hat, scarf, gloves
- blanket or sleeping bag
- underwear, socks
- hygiene items
- sweets, instant soup, canned food
You can take your donations from Monday to Sunday between 7am – 2 pm to the Shelter (1074 Budapest, Vörösmarty street 17). Thank you for your help and gifts!
