The Activist is a student-led human rights journal that has been published by HRSI at CEU since 2002. The Activist exists to elevate your voice and to raise awareness on topics relating to human rights. Submissions can be about the environment, sex and gender, health, politics, ethics, current affairs, and so on—from any field that can relate to human rights, and that is most! Published pieces are not strictly academic and can be written as opinion pieces. Please find previous publications at here.

Written ideas?
Submit an abstract of no more than 300 words including your general topic and approach, including a working thesis.
Photos?
Send us your photos with a short description which ties the image to a topic within human rights. Please provide alternative text for the image so that it is accessible to all readers.
